Happy Chinese New Year!
February 5th 2019 brings in a new year on the lunar calendar. Each year is signified by an element. This year brings in yin Earth energy. Earth element is stable, quiet, and meditative. When there is an unbalance there can be a stubborn temperament and digestive dysfunctions. In ancient rural China the farmers did not learn traditional pinyin and therefore the commonly known animal system was developed. The Pig is yin Earth, so when you hear people refer to the year of the Pig, it is the same thing as yin Earth.
This Friday, Dharma Acupuncture is opening an additional location close by at 311 Neal St for our community acupuncture clinics and recently acquired raw herbal pharmacy. We will be linking our website and scheduler next week, but in the meantime, please call/text for an appointment if you are interested: 530.648.4192 in making an appointment for community acupuncture. We plan to host regularly scheduled clinics on most Tuesdays and Fridays. Planning ahead is always best as we often book up. While we welcome walk-ins, we may not always be able to accommodate last minute requests.
Happy New Year!!
